Wait, what?! I smell it again. Okay, now that I know, it makes sense! I can totally see how the squeaky toy has that odd but slightly familiar smell. I can’t believe I mistook it for an eraser though—who am I? 😆

Round 2: The Mystery of the Mystery Smell

Next up, I’m presented with something that’s got a very strong scent. Wait, this one is… not good. It’s like a mix of old leather and dust. I immediately think this is going to be a tough one. I sniff again and try to mentally prep myself.

Me: “I think it’s… an old wallet?”

Priyanshi Dii: “Oh, you’re getting warmer. It’s a leather belt!”

I’ll be honest—I have no idea how a leather belt can smell that strong, but here we are. That’s the challenge for you: your nose starts playing tricks on you! But it’s fun to laugh about my failed guesses.

Note to self: Never sniff used rain boots again. Ever.

Alright, last round. This one’s a mystery item. I can’t even tell what it is by the shape or texture, but I’ll give it my best shot.

I sniff… Hmm. It smells like… new shoes? A little plastic-y, a bit synthetic, but not too bad. I think I’ve got this one in the bag.

Me: “A pair of new shoes?”
