Guess what? I had the most awesome park day ever — and yes, you guessed it — with my adventure partner, Priyanshi Dii! 💃💖 This time, we explored Rajendra Park in Balangir, and oh boy… it was full of fun, giggles, snacks, and even a squirrel chase. (Spoiler: The squirrel won 🐿️😂)
Let me tell you all about it!
🌸 Welcome to Rajendra Park
If you live in or near Balangir and haven’t been to Rajendra Park — you’re missing out! It’s big, green, and has everything you’d want for a perfect play day:
✔️ Swings
✔️ Slides
✔️ Trees to hide behind
✔️ Ice cream cart (important!) 🍦
As soon as we entered, Priyanshi Dii said, “Let’s act like kids today.”
And I said, “We ARE kids!” 😆
🛝 Slide Wars & Swing Drama
Our first stop — the giant slide!
I went down screaming “Wheeeee!”
Priyanshi Dii followed and got stuck halfway because her scarf flew up like a superhero cape. 🦸♀️ She laughed so hard, she slid down backwards. I nearly fell over laughing!
Next was the swing set. We both tried to go as high as we could.
“I’m touching the clouds!” I shouted.
“I’m touching Mars!” she shouted back.
A little boy next to us said, “I’m just trying to stay on…” 😂
🐿️ The Great Squirrel Chase
While we were walking around, munching on chips, we saw a squirrel grabbing someone’s biscuit and running up a tree.
Guess what Priyanshi Dii did? She tried to bribe the squirrel with her biscuit. 😳
The squirrel just looked at her like, “Ma’am, please.” And zoomed away.
Moral of the story: Squirrels are fast. And picky. 😂
🍦 Ice Cream, Always
No park trip is complete without ice cream!
I picked orange bar, and Priyanshi Dii chose chocobar (so classic of her).
Just as we sat down, a bird decided to poop right near us.
Me: “That was close.”
Her: “It’s lucky!”
Me: “For who?!”

📸 Park Photo Shoot (Well, Kinda)
We tried taking some “aesthetic” photos under a tree. But I kept blinking, and Priyanshi Dii’s hair kept flying like she was in a shampoo ad.
Finally, we just took a selfie with goofy faces — and that was the best one!
💚 Why Parks Are Awesome
Spending time at the park isn’t just fun — it’s freedom. You can run, shout, laugh, swing, and make memories that are way better than screen time!
And when you have a Priyanshi Dii with you, everything becomes 10x funnier!
