Welcome back to Learn With Pari, where we learn while we explore! 🌏 Today’s adventure was super exciting and full of mystery, fun, and nature. We visited a magical place in Balangir district, Odisha — called Bhim Dungri, also known as Bhim Pahad. Ever heard of it?

📍 Where is Bhim Dungri / Bhim Pahad?
Bhim Dungri is located just a few kilometers from Balangir town in Odisha. The name itself is fascinating — “Bhim” from Bhima (the strongest Pandava in Mahabharata) and “Dungri” or “Pahad” means hill. So yes, this place has an epic connection! 💪🗻
🏞️ Why is Bhim Dungri Special?
✨ The place is believed to be linked to the Pandavas, especially Bhima. Locals say that during their exile, the Pandavas stayed here. There’s a big rock formation said to have Bhima’s foot imprint on it! 😲 Isn’t that amazing?

- Natural caves and rock shelters
- Peaceful environment full of birds and trees
- And a calm spiritual vibe that just makes you want to sit down and breathe.
🎥 VLOG Moments – Our Experience!
🚶♀️ The Climb:
We started our hike early in the morning. The trail up Bhim Dungri is not very tough but has natural stone steps. There were butterflies fluttering around and small lizards running into the bushes. It felt like nature was saying “hello!”
🪨 The Sacred Rock:
As we reached the top, there it was — the legendary Bhim’s Footprint! It’s carved into a huge rock, and people offer flowers and pray there. It was quiet, and you could only hear the wind and birds chirping. A moment of peace. ✨

We took loads of pictures for you all! The view from the top is breathtaking. You can see the entire town of Balangir from there.
🧺 Picnic Time!
We also brought some snacks and sat under the trees to enjoy our mini picnic. Please remember — don’t litter. Keep the place clean and green! 🌱

- History + Mythology – Bhim Dungri is a perfect example of how our stories and culture are linked to real places.
- Respect for Nature – The quietness teaches us to listen to nature. We need to protect such places.
- Adventure is Learning – Exploring places is fun AND educational. It’s like a live classroom in the forest!

- 📅 Best time: Early morning or late afternoon (especially during winter or post-monsoon)
- 👟 Wear comfy shoes – you’ll be climbing!
