Guess who’s joining me for the challenge? Mummy! Yes, my mom, who thinks she knows all the drinks in the world. 😆 Spoiler alert: She might not be as good as she thinks. 🤭
So grab a drink, sit back, and get ready to laugh with us. Let’s see if mummy can guess what’s in her cup — or if she’ll end up drinking something totally wild. 🍹😂
🧃 The Rules of the Game
Here’s how this Guess the Drink Challenge works:
- Step 1: I blindfold mummy (because, obviously, that’s the only way to make this fair).
- Step 2: I give her a drink. She has to guess what it is.
- Step 3: If she gets it right, she wins a point (yay, mummy!). If she guesses wrong, she gets a mystery drink for the next round. 😜
- Step 4: We repeat the process until we’ve tried 5 drinks. The one with the most points at the end wins. Spoiler: I plan to win. 🤭
🍓 Round 1 – The Berry Surprise
Mummy’s blindfolded, and I’m holding my first drink. It’s red… so I’m already excited for her reaction! 😏
I give her the cup, and she takes a big sip. “Mmm, that’s definitely raspberry lemonade,” she says, confidently. But wait — is she right?
I look at the bottle behind me… NOPE. It’s actually strawberry juice mixed with a little bit of apple juice. Bingo! I’ve got her!
Mummy opens her eyes. “Wait, what? That wasn’t raspberry lemonade?!” she says, totally shocked. 😂
Looks like mummy’s off to a rough start. One point for me! 🎯
🥤 Round 2 – The Mystery Green Drink
Now, for round two! This drink is green. Very green. And… it looks like something you might need a scientific degree to identify. 🤓
I give mummy the cup and watch her take a cautious sip. Her face scrunches up, and I can’t help but laugh. “Ew, this tastes like… spinach? Or… grass? What is this?” she says, making a face like she just licked the lawn. 😝
I can’t hold it in anymore, and I burst out laughing. “It’s actually cucumber juice, mummy!” I say.
Mummy looks at me like I just served her a weird science experiment. “Cucumber?! That’s not a drink!” she says. 😂
Looks like mummy’s two for two on wrong guesses. Point for me again! 🎯
🍫 Round 3 – Chocolate Milk, or… Is It?
Now, I’m feeling a little more generous. Time for a classic — chocolate milk! But… there’s a twist. I secretly added a little vanilla extract and… some extra cocoa powder. Hehe, mummy won’t see this coming!
Mummy takes a sip, and her face lights up. “Oh, this is definitely chocolate milk! Yummy!” she says.
“Wait, are you sure?” I ask with a suspicious grin. “What if I told you I added a secret ingredient?”
She looks at me, confused. “What secret ingredient?” she asks.
“I added a bit of vanilla… and maybe a teeny bit too much cocoa,” I say, giggling.
Mummy takes another sip and sighs in relief. “Okay, okay… you got me there! But it still tastes like chocolate milk!” She’s happy to have finally gotten one right.
Well, one point for mummy! 🎯
😜 Round 4 – The Fizzy Lemonade Challenge
Now, I bring out the fizzy drink. It’s… lemonade, but it’s got a lot of bubbles. I give it to mummy, and she looks at it suspiciously. “Is this… soda?” she asks, looking worried. “Are you trying to trick me again?”
I watch her carefully sip it. She pauses. “Okay, I think it’s… lemon soda, but I don’t know which brand.”
I give her a thumbs-up. “That’s almost right! It’s sparkling lemonade, but I’m impressed. You were so close!” ✨
One point for mummy again! 🎯
🍹 Round 5 – The Ultimate Twist!
For the final round, I bring out a drink that’s just plain weird. It’s a mix of coconut water, orange juice, and a splash of pineapple juice. I can’t wait to see mummy’s reaction! 😏
She takes a sip, and her face goes from confusion to pure panic. “What is this?! It’s… tropical, but not in a good way!” she says, scrunching up her face.
I laugh, “It’s my secret tropical drink combo! Coconut, orange, and pineapple juice!”
Mummy starts laughing too. “That’s the weirdest drink I’ve ever had! What do you call it? The taste of a vacation gone wrong?” 😜
🏆 And the Winner Is…?
So, after all the laughs, weird drinks, and mummy’s hilarious guesses, guess who won? Me! 😜🎉
But hey, mummy got some points too, so I’d say we both had a ton of fun! The real winner here is laughter and family time. 💖
