Hey, hey, hey! Welcome back to Part 2 of My Day Routine at Home Town! 🌟
If you missed the first part, don’t worry—we’ve got your back. In Part 1, we had pancakes, a little backyard adventure, and some serious cookie stacking. But now, we’re diving into the afternoon chaos.
So buckle up, it’s about to get wild! 🚀
Step 1: The Post-Lunch Chill (Also Known as The “I Need A Nap” Moment) 💤
After lunch, things slowed down a bit. I mean, after all those pancakes, cookies, and snacks, what else can you do but nap? 😴
I stretched out on the couch and pretended to read a book, but really, I was just waiting for Aadyansh to challenge me to a game.
Aadyansh: “Pari, do you want to play Monopoly?”
Me: “Only if I can win.”
Aadyansh: “No promises. But I have ALL the money!”
Spoiler alert: We never actually played Monopoly. Instead, we spent 45 minutes arguing about whose turn it was, and then we got distracted by the cookie jar again. Classic.
Step 2: The Great Outdoor Adventure (aka, Operation Pillow Fight) 🏞️
I love how in my hometown, we can step outside and have adventures with the simplest things. And today? Today’s adventure was the pillow fight of the century. I’m not kidding—it was legendary.
We grabbed the fluffiest pillows from the living room and headed into the backyard. The goal? Get as many pillows into the tree as possible. Why? Because… well, why not?
Aadyansh: “I’m going to get 10 pillows in that tree!”
Me: “I bet I can get 20!”
Aadyansh: “Let’s do this!”
And, of course, we both ended up trying to climb the tree ourselves. Spoiler alert: Neither of us made it, but we did have a really fun time throwing pillows at each other, so we definitely won. 😜
Step 3: The Family Game Night (Cue the Competition!) 🎮
As the evening rolled in, it was time for Family Game Night. This is when the REAL competition happens. 😏
We all gathered in the living room, and guess what game we decided to play? Charades!
You know those games where you act things out, and everyone has to guess? Let’s just say Aadyansh should never be allowed to act out a cat again. It’s not that he’s bad at it… he just kept meowing and pretending to chase invisible mice. 🤷♀️
Aadyansh: “I’m doing the cat! Look at me!”
Me: “Umm… that’s more of a squirrel mixed with a chicken, but sure.”
Honestly, we all ended up in a laughing fit because of his very unique animal impressions. 😆
Step 4: The Dinner Time Fun (And the Mess) 🍕
You know how some families have fancy dinner conversations? Well, we just have fancy food fights.
Tonight’s dinner? Pizza—and by pizza, I mean, we made our own personal pizzas. Aadyansh and I took our pizza-making skills to the next level. We used every topping in the fridge. Pineapple, mushrooms, olives, cheese, and even… a little bit of chocolate sauce. (Hey, it was worth trying.)
Me: “Aadyansh, I’m making the BEST pizza ever!”
Aadyansh: “Mine’s going to be bigger, better, and… probably messier.”
And yes, by “messier,” he meant he accidentally flipped his pizza onto the floor. 🍕😅
Dinner ended with everyone trying to eat their creations and laughing at how surprisingly delicious the chocolate sauce pizza actually was. (Don’t judge until you try it!)
Step 5: The Final Wind-Down (AKA, The Bedtime Struggles) 🌙
After an exciting day, we finally made it to the evening… and this is where things got cozy.
Pari: “Time for bed!”
Aadyansh: “But I’m not tired yet!”
Pari: “Aadyansh, you’ve been awake for 12 hours. Go to sleep!”
Aadyansh: “But the moon is still up! I have moon-energy!”
It took a bit of convincing (and some seriously funny bedtime stories), but eventually, we both fell asleep, ready to start another day of fun tomorrow.
What I Learned Today:
- Afternoon naps are necessary after a long morning of pancakes and cookies.
- Pillow fights make everything better (even if you’re not very good at throwing pillows).
- Charades with Aadyansh = endless laughter (and slightly confusing animals).
- Pizza can be delicious, even with chocolate sauce.
- Family game nights and silly moments make the best memories.
And that, my friends, wraps up Part 2 of My Day Routine at Home Town! 🌟 I hope you enjoyed following along with Aadyansh and me as we spent our day filled with food, games, outdoor fun, and lots of love.
