Hello curious minds and adventure seekers! 👋
It’s your favorite duo — Pari and Priyanshi — reporting live from one of the most fun + nerdy days ever! 📸✨
We took a trip to the Visvesvaraya Industrial & Technological Museum in Bangalore — aka the place where science gets cool, gravity gets questioned, and we almost got stuck in a mirror maze (long story, keep reading). 🤭
🏛️ What Is This Place?
Located in the heart of Namma Bengaluru, the Visvesvaraya Museum is named after Sir M. Visvesvaraya, one of India’s greatest engineers (aka a real brainiac 🧠💡). The museum is packed with fun, interactive exhibits on science, technology, space, machines, the human body, and more!
In short: It’s like Hogwarts for science lovers. ⚗️✨
🧪 First Stop: The “FUN”damentals of Science
We started with the “Fun Science” gallery — and it totally lived up to the name.
🌀 We played with mirrors that made us tall, short, and wobbly spaghetti-shaped
🎢 Tried out spinning platforms and gravity tricks (RIP balance)
⚡ Zapped each other (safely!) with a static electricity generator
🧲 Learned how magnets work — no, it’s not magic, it’s physics. Kind of the same thing though. 😉
🧍♀️ The Human Body Gallery – Pari Turned Doctor?
Okay, not really. But I did poke a giant model of a human brain and pretend to be a surgeon. 🧠🔍
We learned about:
- The nervous system
- How the lungs breathe
- Why the heart goes dhak-dhak
- And what happens to your food after you eat it (Priyanshi said “Ewww” at least 7 times)
Also, there was a giant nose that sneezes when you press a button. Who makes this stuff?! We love them. 😂
🚀 Space Gallery – Astronaut Mode: ON 🌌
If you’ve ever wanted to feel like you’re floating in space (without actually floating in space), this is the place.
We checked out:
- Satellite models
- A simulated rocket launch
- Real-life stories of Indian space heroes like Kalpana Chawla and Rakesh Sharma
Pari’s highlight: Pretending to be an astronaut while spinning wildly in the gyroscope simulator
Priyanshi’s highlight: “Not throwing up” during said simulator. 😂
🤖 Machines, Engines & Robots – Engineering Is Awesome
We explored rooms filled with:
- Giant levers and pulleys
- Engines that move when you press buttons
- Mini robot arms and old-school computers
We may or may not have pressed every single button in the room. You’re welcome, science.
🎠 Bonus Fun: Mirror Maze & Science Playground
Yes, there’s an actual outdoor play area with science-based games.
And yes, we got lost in the mirror maze. It was like walking through a thousand versions of ourselves. Very confusing. Very Instagram-worthy. 📸
🍴 Final Stop: Snack Break (Obviously)
After learning enough science to feel like Einstein’s nieces, we grabbed a quick bite at the museum café, laughed about our mirror maze panic, and declared this one of our best days ever. 🎉
💡 What We Learned:
- Science is NOT boring. (Especially when you’re pressing buttons.)
- Learning is way more fun when you can see, touch, and try.
- Pari and Priyanshi should not be trusted in a mirror maze unsupervised. 😅
- Engineers and scientists are rockstars — literally shaping the world around us.

🎬 Final Words from Pari & Priyanshi:
