🐞 How to Make a Paper Ladybug Hand Puppet | Paper Crafts | DIY Fun

Welcome back to LearnWithPari, your go-to place for simple, colorful, and super fun DIY crafts! Today, we’re going to create a cute paper ladybug hand puppet — a perfect project for kids, beginners, and anyone who loves little critters and creative play.

Not only will you get to make your very own ladybug friend, but you’ll also learn a crafty way to bring stories and imagination to life with your hands!

✂️ What You’ll Need:

  • Red and black colored paper (or white paper and markers)
  • Scissors
  • Glue stick or liquid glue
  • Black marker or pen
  • Googly eyes (optional but fun!)
  • Pencil
  • Tape

🎨 Step-by-Step Instructions:

Step 1: Create the Base of Your Puppet

Take a sheet of red paper and fold it in half lengthwise (hot dog style). This folded paper will be the body of your ladybug puppet and also the sleeve where you put your hand.

Step 2: Make the Ladybug’s Wings

Cut two large oval shapes from red paper to be the wings. Using a black marker, draw small dots on the wings to mimic a ladybug’s spots.

Step 3: Add the Head

Cut a smaller oval or circle from black paper for the ladybug’s head. If you don’t have black paper, you can color a white piece with a marker.

Step 4: Assemble Your Ladybug

Glue the wings onto the folded base so they spread out like open wings when you move your hand. Then glue the head at the top of the fold.

Step 5: Add Details

Use the black marker to add antennae on the head and any other fun details you want. Stick on googly eyes or draw eyes with the marker.

Step 6: Put Your Hand Inside and Play!

Slide your hand inside the folded paper base, move your fingers to open and close the wings, and voilà—your very own fluttering ladybug hand puppet!
