🏡 My Daily Routine During Lockdown | Part 1

Today, I’m sharing something special and personal — My Daily Routine During Lockdown 🗓️✨

Yes, lockdown was a strange time. Schools were closed, we stayed indoors, and everything felt… different. But guess what? I made a routine that helped me stay happy, healthy, and creative! 🎨📚

So here’s Part 1 of my daily routine — I hope it inspires you to make your own routine too!

☀️ 1. Waking Up & Getting Ready – 7:30 AM

Even though there was no school bus honking outside, I tried to wake up on time!
Getting out of bed early made me feel fresh and ready to start the day. 🛏️💪

My morning steps:

  • Make my bed (nice and neat!)
  • Brush my teeth 🪥
  • Wash my face 💦
  • Change out of pyjamas into comfy home clothes 👕

This little routine helped me feel like I was going somewhere — even if I was just going to the living room! 😂


🍽️ 2. Breakfast Time – 8:00 AM

Breakfast is the most important meal of the day! 🥣🍌
Some of my lockdown breakfast favorites were:

  • Poha or upma
  • A bowl of cereal or oats
  • Fruits like bananas or apples
  • A glass of milk or juice

While eating, I sometimes listened to music or talked to my family about the day ahead. 👨‍👩‍👧


📚 3. Study Time – 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM

Even during lockdown, learning never stops!
I set up a mini “school corner” in my room with my books, pens, and a water bottle. 💼📖

Some fun ways I studied:

  • Attended online classes on my tablet or laptop
  • Watched science videos on Learn With Pari 🔬
  • Did worksheets and fun quizzes
  • Practiced reading aloud or writing stories

TIP: Set a timer for 25 minutes of study + 5 minutes break — it really works!


🧘‍♀️ 4. Midday Break – 11:00 AM

After study time, I gave my brain a break!

I did things like:

  • Stretching or yoga 🧘
  • Drawing or painting 🎨
  • Watering the plants 🌱
  • Dancing to my favorite songs 💃

This helped me refresh my mind and get ready for the next part of the day!


🍛 5. Lunch & Family Time – 1:00 PM

Lunch was always yummy during lockdown because we tried new recipes at home! 👩‍🍳
Sometimes I even helped in the kitchen (mostly with peeling or mixing 😅).

After lunch, we would sit and chat or watch something funny together on TV. 📺
