- Stumble into the kitchen to make breakfast, while simultaneously answering work emails with one hand.
- Pour coffee into a cup that has “Best Mom Ever” written on it, because she’s absolutely earned that title.
- Send a quick “I’m going to be late for the meeting!” text to her boss while putting on shoes that perfectly match her outfit. No one can know that she was late this morning, right?
It’s a tough job, but somebody’s gotta do it—and Barbie does it with style (because, well, duh).

Barbie, who is already late for an important meeting, starts hyperventilating. There’s no way she can handle this on top of everything else. But being the professional multitasker that she is, Barbie calmly tells Baby Barbie: “Honey, we’ll get the tutu on and make it work. Mama’s got this.”
But Baby Barbie isn’t having it. She starts sobbing because she wants the sparkly dress and not the tutu, and Barbie is like, “Okay, no panic. Just another tiny crisis to solve.”
Finally, after what feels like an eternity of dramatic toddler decisions, Barbie manages to get Baby Barbie dressed in a mix of both outfits—because compromise, right?
But now Barbie is officially late. Her shoes are mismatched (because when did she find time to match them?), and Baby Barbie is sporting a tutu-sparkly-dress combo that screams “I’m a fashion rebel.” Barbie takes a deep breath, sends a “Running late!” text to the office, and they head out the door. But not before she catches her reflection in the mirror and thinks, “Wow, I look great for someone who’s late, has mismatched shoes, and a toddler who refuses to cooperate.”

Barbie finally gets to work, only to find herself in a chaotic Zoom meeting. Her boss is talking about an urgent project, and Barbie is trying her best to stay focused while Baby Barbie is in the background, dramatically staging a tea party with Barbie’s entire desk drawer. Barbie (trying to sound calm): “Absolutely! No problem. I’ll have it ready in time—just a quick… uh… mom thing to handle first.”
In the middle of trying to present her ideas, Baby Barbie decides it’s time for the ultimate tantrum. She pulls out a giant stuffed animal from Barbie’s desk drawer and screams, “I’m hungry!” Barbie’s multitasking skills are now being tested to the max.
Barbie (muted, whispering): “Baby, you’re fine, we’ll have lunch in five minutes!”
But the workday presses on. Barbie looks at the clock: It’s already 2:30 p.m.—the presentation is due in half an hour, and Baby Barbie is still conducting a “tea party” with all the pens in Barbie’s drawer. But you know what? Barbie doesn’t panic. She quickly re-arranges her Zoom presentation slides, all while shushing Baby Barbie in the background and turning the situation into a magical work-from-home experience. No big deal. 👏
A Mini Meltdown (But Don’t Worry, Barbie’s Got This) 😱
Let’s be honest: every working mom has had one of those meltdown moments. For Barbie, this moment comes after the Zoom call ends and she realizes—she still hasn’t eaten lunch. Her stomach growls loudly, but she just can’t afford to take a break. Baby Barbie, on the other hand, is now demanding the largest ice cream cone in the history of ice cream cones.
Barbie’s like, “Okay, so I didn’t eat, I didn’t sleep, and I barely survived this Zoom call… but I did it with grace.”
She takes a deep breath and pulls herself together. She’s a superhero in disguise, and superheroes never give up. Barbie looks at her reflection, adjusts her mismatched shoes, and says to herself, “You are doing great, mama.”
