Hey everyone! Welcome back to Learn with Pari! Today’s blog is super special because it’s a mix of excitement, nervousness, and a little bit of drama 😭🔥. I’m finally unboxing my brand-new academic books for the upcoming session… AND sharing my 7th-grade marks (which honestly shocked me!).
📦 Unboxing My New Academic Books
There’s something so satisfying about opening a fresh set of books at the start of a new academic year. The smell of new pages, the crisp covers, and that feeling of a fresh start—it just hits differently!
This year’s set includes:
- 📘 Updated textbooks for all core subjects
- 📗 Practice workbooks (which look intense, not gonna lie 😅)
- 📙 A few additional reference books for deeper learning
As I flipped through the pages, I noticed that the syllabus looks a bit more advanced than last year. Especially subjects like Math and Science—they seem more concept-based now. It’s exciting, but also a little intimidating.
But you know what? New books = new opportunities to improve, learn, and grow 💪
😭 My SHOCKING 7th Marks Reveal!
Okay… this is the part I was both nervous and excited to share.
When I first saw my results, I didn’t know how to react. Some subjects went really well, but others? Let’s just say… unexpected 😭
Here’s a quick breakdown:
- 🌟 Subjects I did great in: English, Science
- 😬 Subjects that shocked me: Math (I expected better!)
- 🤯 Overall reaction: Mixed emotions
I won’t lie—I felt a little disappointed at first, especially because I had higher expectations from myself. But after thinking it through, I realized something important…
👉 Marks are not the end of the story. They’re feedback.
💡 What I Learned From My Results
Instead of feeling stuck, I decided to reflect:
- Where did I go wrong?
- Did I practice enough?
- Was I consistent with revision?
And honestly, the answer to some of these was no. That’s a tough truth, but an important one.
So here’s my plan moving forward:
- ✔️ Be more consistent with studies
- ✔️ Practice Math daily (no excuses!)
- ✔️ Revise regularly instead of last-minute prep
- ✔️ Ask for help when I don’t understand something
🔥 New Year, New Mindset
This unboxing wasn’t just about books—it felt like opening a new chapter of my journey.
Yes, my 7th marks were shocking.
Yes, I felt emotional.
But I’m choosing to use this as motivation instead of letting it bring me down.
Because at the end of the day, improvement matters more than perfection 💯
💬 Final Thoughts
If you’re someone who didn’t get the marks you expected, I just want to say—you’re not alone. It happens to all of us.
What truly matters is what you do next.
So let’s promise ourselves:
✨ To work harder
✨ To stay consistent
✨ To believe in our ability to improve
And most importantly… to never give up 🚀
Let me know in the comments—how were your results this year? And are you excited about your new books? 📚💭
See you in the next blog!
